Want to change a child's life for the better and give back to our communities? Become a mentor to a child of an incarcerated parent and help break the cycle of intergenerational incarceration. Show a child a positive future that they can achieve. Meet with a child once a week for about an hour and just have fun. Go golfing, play catch, help with homework, or just hang out and show a child a positive way to interact with their community. Join 50 others on the windward side in helping our children and creating a brighter future. All mentors must pass both Federal and State background checks as a safety measure for the children we work with. Also, all mentors receive free training from our consultant as well as ongoing support from coordinators. This opportunity is sponsored by: Malama Pono Youth Mentoring Program
