To help our teachers assist in providing computer literacy classes to kids, adults, and seniors at numerous locations. We use a thematic curriculum that primarily focuses on the use of the Microsoft Office Professional Suite. Schools today are not doing a sufficient job in teaching children to become computer literate and this is our focus. We are also trying to narrow the digital divide and create a more level playing fields for those that do not have access to technology. We would like to assess the volunteer's computer skill level. We require all of our teachers to attend weekly training to ensure their skill level is high and that proper terminology is being used. Transportation is a must.
