Greet and help visitors to the Arboretum sign in. Provide maps, directions, and information to our visitors from all over the island and all around the world. Lyon Arboretum visitors include local hikers, nature lovers, gardeners, scientists and students. Your assistance will help make the Arboretum visitor's experience a wonderful one. Join us and help share this exceptionally beautiful garden with others! Volunteers should be able to speak English, work a few hours weekly and enjoy meeting people. Ability to speak Japanese, Hawaiian, Chinese, German, or French or any other languages very desirable but not necessary!  This opportunity is sponsored by: Lyon Arboretum

Take the University Ave. exit on H1. Drive mauka (towards the mountains), pass the University and continue up the valley. At the Intersection of Oahu Ave.,and University Ave, take Oahu Ave. (middle fork) and continue up the valley. At the 5 way intersection (Lowry Ave, Oahu Ave. Manoa Rd.) take Manoa Road. Continue driving mauka past Paradise Park. The Arboretum driveway is at the Manoa Falls trailhead. Parking for Arboretum visitors is at the top of the driveway.
