Our mission is the rehabilitation and release of Hawaii's orphaned and injured wild birds.

Description:
Wild Bird Rehab Haven is comprised of a core group of wild bird rehabilitators and a caring volunteer base we are hoping to expand. We serve our Island community by healing, fostering and releasing wild birds and by providing information and seminars on baby bird and illness and injury care. We need foster caregivers to help care for injured birds and help raise orphaned birds in their own homes until we find a permanent location for an in-take center.

History:
We started as a group of bird lovers who had nurtured and healed Oahu's wild birds for many years working within the confines of our own homes. In November, 2003 we organized the Wild Bird Rehab Haven. In 2005 we gained our 501(c)3 non-profit status. We also share our experience and knowledge by teaching free classes on baby bird care and treatment for sick and injured wild birds on Oahu.
