We are in our 35th year of presenting intriguing and inspiring performances from Europe, Asia, the mainland USA and more. Leeward Community College Theatre offers the most affordable opportunity on Oahu to experience international, national and local artists. Description:
Between 18 to 22 major productions are presented within the academic year at Leeward CC Theatre. This includes professional touring groups, Leeward CC drama and dance shows, co-sponsored events with other campus departments, and rentals. Additionally, our theatre maintains a strong commitment to local artists. In this 2009-2010 season the staff of Leeward CC Theatre is working with the Monkey Waterfall Company in developing a new work using various areas of the campus as a staging ground. Past partnerships include Tau Dance Theater, the Hawaii State Dance Council, Hawaii Ballet Theatre and Honolulu Theatre for Youth.
History:
People of Oahu and visitors are inspired each year by Leeward CC Theatre's line-up of world-class artists representing diverse cultures. Built in 1974, our theatre features an intimate proscenium stage with continental seating of 574+. Every seat in the house has a clear view of the stage. Located in Pearl City our theatre serves as the major performing arts center for the Leeward and Central Oahu areas. For thirty-five years a total of over 2.2 million people have experienced the exhilirating physicality of dance, the enchantment of music, and the joys of comedy and drama.

FROM HONOLULU: Take the H-1 Freeway, Ewa Bound (or West bound), to the Pearl City/Waimalu exit (Exit #10). The exit leads directly to Moanalua Road. Make a right turn and proceed down Moanalua Road until it ends at Waimano Home Road (Third Light). Turn left onto Waimano Home Road and continue until you reach Kamehameha Hwy., the first major intersection you'll encounter (good landmarks are a 7-11 Store and a Car Dealership).
Turn right onto Kamehameha Hwy., following the LCC directional signs and staying in the far left lane. You'll pass one intersection and then the large concrete Sam's Club Shopping complex. Staying in the far left lane, you'll drive under an overpass and make the first left turn after the overpass. This will put you on the direct access road to campus, Waiawa Road. Continue till Waiawa Road ends (a very short distance) and make a right turn at the stop sign. End at LCC Theatre.
FROM ALL POINTS EWA: Follow signs to PEARL CITY until reaching Farrington HWY. Follow the LCC directional signs, making a right turn onto Waiawa Road, the direct access road to campus. Continue till Waiawa Road ends (a very short distance) and make a right turn at the stop sign. End at LCC Theatre.
FROM WINWARD O'AHU: Take H-3 Freeway and continue on to H-1 Freeway, Ewa Bound (or West Bound), to the Pearl City/Waimalu exit (Exit #10). The exit leads directly to Moanalua Road. Make a right turn and proceed down Moanalua Road until it ends at Waimano Home Road (Third Light).
