Leeward Community College Theatre
Last updated on October 2, 2008

As a part of the University of Hawaii, the primary goal of LCC Theatre is to promote cultural curiosity. We want our performances to make a connection to the mind, heart or spirit of our audiences; creating and stimulating a hunger for the experiences only achieved through the arts.

Description:
Between 18 and 22 major productions are mounted in a typical season at LCC Theatre, which include 3-5 professional touring groups, 8-10 LCC productions and numerous co-sponsored events, for a total average attendance of over 90,000 patrons. The Theatre maintains a strong commitment to local artists. Partnerships have been created with groups such as Tau Dance Theater, the Hawaii State Dance Council, the Hawaii Ballet Theatre and the Honolulu Theatre for Youth.

History:
Built in 1974, LCC Theatre is an intimate proscenium theatre with comfortable continental seating of 635. Located in Pearl City, Hawaii, LCC Theatre serves as the only major performing arts center for the Leeward and Central Oahu areas. Since the Theatre opened its doors in 1974 over 2.1 million people have experienced the passion of dance, the enchantment of music, the laughter of comedy, and the enlightenment of cultures from around the world.
