Pacific Whale Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to marine education, conservation, and outreach.

Description:
The mission of Pacific Whale Foundation, Pacific Whale Foundation's Eco-Adventures, and Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Stores is to inspire and promote appreciation, understanding, and protection of whales, dolphins, coral reefs and our planet's oceans. We accomplish this through public environmental education, by supporting and conducting responsible marine research, and by addressing marine conservation issues through activism and education.

History:
Pacific Whale Foundation was founded by 1980 by Greg Kaufman, our president, who was concerned about the fate of the world's whales--which were perilously close to the threat of extinction. Early in our organization's efforts, we expanded our scope to include dolphins and coral reefs, as well as their ocean habitats. We know that whales and dolphins do not survive in a vacuum. To protect them we must protect the oceans.
