The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council's mission is to promote a greater awareness and understanding of foreign affairs issues with special attention to Hawaii's role in the Asia-Pacific region.
Description:
The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council (PAAC) is an independent, nonpartisan, international educational non-profit and serves as the World Affairs Council for the State of Hawai'i. Since 1954, PAAC has provided international education to more than 73,500 high school students and 90,500 individuals attending community college programs statewide. PAAC has brought substantive and critical issues of foreign affairs to Hawaii through its programs - Speaker Forums, International Visitor Leadership Program, UHCC International Affairs Outreach Program and High School Global Education Program. PAAC is preparing the next generation of leaders for an increasingly interconnected world.
