About Friendly Isle United Fund
The Friendly Isle United Fund (FIUF) is a home-grown annual fundraising campaign sponsored by the Moloka'i Community Service Council. FIUF serves non-profit projects on the island of Moloka'i. Applications for assistance are open to all non-profits who serve our community. Over the years, FIUF has provided assistance for health care, domestic violence prevention, youth sports programs, kupuna activities, and school projects. Although the annual campaign goal is modest ($55,000), and the grants awarded are relatively small ($1,500 on average), FIUF provides critical support for programs that touch almost all of the residents of our low-income, rural community.
